the scene:

eggster mom in a supermarket with her 2 boys (5 years old and the other, 8) and hubby

while eggster mom was busy checking out the personal care section, she noticed her son stop on his tracks and stared at something displayed on the shelf.

younger son: mom, don't buy that (pointing at a black object which mom didn't recognize at first)

mom: why should'nt I buy that?

younger son: it makes nice girls naughty.

eggster mom looks up and saw axe products lined up on the shelf.
she laughed out loud. suddenly, the hubby with older son arrives.

dad: what's funny?

mom: o, luis, tell papa what you just told me.

younger son: don't buy that papa, it makes nice girls naughty.

dad and mom looked at each other and started to laugh hard.

older son: why are you laughing? It's true!

dad: ah kung ganun, eh di let's get a lot!

may 9 2007...kaarawan ni lakas nang araw na ito. lumabas ang grupo para mag-salo salo. mga bandang alas-dos, nag-paalamanan na at kanya-kanya kaming nag-tungo sa mga sasakyan. sumabay kami ni akit kay lakas.

cut to: pagdating namin sa bahay ni akit, nakigamit pa kami ng banyo ni lakas at dali daling lumabas ng bahay at bumalik sa kotse. pag-sakay...aba ayaw mag-start. sige, sabi namin, hintay lang muna matapos ang isang stick ng yosi, sinubukang muli ni lakas paandarin ang kotse. ayaw parin. mag-aalas-kwatro na nung mga oras na yun.

sinubukan naming magpaka-ak at nag-paka mekaniko kami. sinilip ang tangke ng coolant, walang laman. baka nag-over heat. dali-dali naming tinawagan si akit para humingi ng tubig...para sa kotse, at para sa mga lalamunan naming tuyong-tuyo dulot ng alak. naiwan ako sa kotse at bumalik si lakas sa bahay ni akit.

pag-dating ni lakas, nilagyan namin ng tubig ang radiator, pinagbabasa ang kung ano mang parte ng makinang nag-iinit. sinubukang paandaring muli ang sasakyan...ayaw parin (time check: alas-singko na). aba, iba na ito. nag-pasya kaming tumawag sa mga pwedeng makatulong...ded batt ako (o diba ang ganda?). buti nalang gumagana ang celfon ni lakas.

nakatawag kami sa mga akala naming makakatulong sa sitwasyon, walang nangyari. :P AYAW NIYA TALAGANG UMANDAR. at dahil alas-singko palang, walang ni-isang tao sa paligid, wala ring masakyan. kaya't nagmuni-muni nalang muna kami, hangga't napansin naming paakyat na ang araw.

alas-sais. naglakad lakad kami sa village. at mukhang narinig na ng Diyos ang aming panalangin, may dumaang taxi. at dun na natapos ang aming adventure. hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ang araw na ito...ang araw na hinanaphanap namin si olga. :P

Life's a beach :)

The beach...hay. How I wish that beaches are just around the corner. I recently went to our company outing in La Iya, sarap...sarap lang! :) Totally enjoyed bonding with people, the sun, the moon and the stars. It's just soooooooooo perfect.


That's it. I will make it a point to troop to Bora at pag nasarapan na naman ako ulit, di nako babalik hehehehe!
