Ang Teknolohiya : Nakabubuti sa mga Kalalakihan

Sabi ng marami, technology connects people.
But from a girl’s perspective, I don’t think so.

Noong araw, noong telepono palang…

“I tried to call you but your line was busy.”
“Gamit ng mommy yung phone eh. Sorry ha.”
“Naputulan kami.”
“Grabe telepono parating busy! Nakakiinis ha,”

And then came the pager…

“Bad trip yung operatore eh. Di kami magkaintindihan.”
“Laging busy yung 114.”
“Wala akong magamit na phone eh. Di ako maka-page.”

Now there’s cellphone…

“Lag lang siguro.”
“I texted you twice! Di mo nakuha?”
“Left my phone sa car.”
“Low batt eh. Di ako naka-charge.”
“Wala nakong load.”

It’s very clear why technology and men get along.
The latter seem to have found a new alibi to make us women wait endlessly for them to call, page or text.
And Nokia claims they connect people together? Ha! I beg to disagree.
